Whimsical Wonderland Inspired Birthday Party

It began with a box...well actually it began with a girl. Beatrix is the girl and she's my oldest daughter. Understandably, being the first child, she changed my life forever. But she awoke a creative monster inside of me I didn't know I had. Party planning! There's nothing better than planning a party and watching it come to life. So Beatrix turned 8 years old and in "my world" a whimsical, wonderland party was mandatory to celebrate this special occasion. I've always had a wee bit of an obsession with Alice In Wonderland. I've tried to push this love affair of wonderland on Beatrix with little luck, as her and I rarely see eye to eye. But with lots of lying, story telling I made it happen with a lot of smiles and excitement in the end! My only regret, not getting my face painted! So be on your way! Down the rabbit hole. Begin at the beginning and go until you get to the end: then stop!

While losing my head the morning of, Steffanie and her amazing style sense stepped in and
set up most of the decor. She saved my booty that day!

The cake wasn't supposed to look like that at all! Thanks to the quirky theme it worked in my favor!

Dana made all my digital images. Aren't they cute?!
When we put these together I'm pretty sure I died a little from the cuteness! I LOVE snails!

A big thanks to Cali for her amazing photography skills! She documented every inch of the party beautifully, making this all "post worthy"!
